I chanced upon this post not incidentally while Googling ! Ever tried to find something on Google and not succeeded though the chances of such occasions are really slim.. that then consummately sums up Gene's theory behind coining Googlenope for a word !
Ah..it does remind me though of the exasperated look to be worn by a certain teacher down the Southern tip of India, who it should be stated here is an aficionado of the Oxford language, and the crinkled nose effect such a word would have upon a request for inclusion in her lexicon.. Hehe payback time of sorts perhaps ?? :p
Well, if you exclaim, 'Googlenope !' and it is understood as googlenope, whether or not agreed to as googlenope, googlenope it is !
